Regional DataBase and Estimation System - RDBES
The Regional DataBase and Estimation System (RDBES) is a database and estimation system where countries upload commercial catches - landings, effort, bycatch and sampling data, allowing for flexible upload of all sampling schemes used. The system is used by ICES assessment Expert Groups for fish stock advice to the European Union and non-EU countries. ICES member countries and EU Regional Coordination Groups (RCG’s) for the North Atlantic, North Sea and Eastern Arctic, Baltic Sea and Long Distance Fisheries are using the RDBES for collating and defining regional sampling strategies.
