Hard copy versions of habitat maps were georeferenced and the habitat classes were traced and saved as polygon shapefiles using ArcMap version 10. All original classifications assigned to the habitats were translated to EUNIS using expert judgement and additional data and merged into one standardised polygon shapefile displaying EUNIS habitats in the Celtic Sea.
