Statement

The map was produced in July 2007 by a collaboration of scientists from the Marine Station of Dinard, the biological station of Roscoff and Laboratory Geomorphology and coastal environment laboratory of Dinard. This map was drawn up on the basis of the specifications by the Brest Botanical Conservatory on the mapping of natural habitats and plant species applied to the terrestrial sites of the Natura 2000 Network, and based on the latest scientific work carried out in the bay since 2002 as part of the PNEC (Programme National pour l'environnement côtier). The data used are from the "Benthomont II and III" campaigns. The IGN 2000 ortholittorales were also served as a basis for locating the hermella reefs and some areas of clean, slightly silted fine sand. In September 2022, Ifremer converted the dataset into EMODnet standard and uploaded it on EMODnet portal.
