Surveys were undertaken using following methodology outlined in Wyn et al (2006). The survey was analysed and recorded in Marine Habitat Classification for Britain and Ireland Version 04.05. This was translated into EUNIS version 2007-11 by Natural England on 01/04/2011, which is the map provided to JNCC. This map was then formatted by JNCC to meet the Data Exchange Format v4.1 required for EMODnet uploads in August 2023. Where there were multiple habitats on one row (eg. LS.LSa.MuSa.MacAre/CerPo) the rows were split and translated into their matching EUNIS 07 habitat. This map showed a similar area to GB100208, decided this shows a greater extent than 208 and therefore supersedes it.
