Benthic habitat map in the Bulgarian Black Sea.

This is the map of rocky reefs covered by algaes. This is the result of Bulgarian Black Sea monitoring during 2018 as a result of Agreement No. 409/03.07.2018 and Annex No. 1/30.10.2018 between the Black Sea Region Basin Directorate and the Institute of Oceanology-BAS on the basis of Order No.RD-410/03.07.2018 of the Minister of the Environment and waters for the implementation of the Marine Water Monitoring Program in 2018 in relation to the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD). In 2018, sampling, monitoring, photo and video recording was carried out on 21 transects from the northern coast of the Black Sea, 82 destructive samples were taken, more than 400 photos and videos were taken. In the map are included parts covered by investigation.
